Conal Dodds

I promoted my very first gig in 1990 by knocking on Robert Plant’s door in Monmouth and asking him to play a charity gig. He did, and told me later I was good at it so I continued. I became an independent promoter for 4 years, moving onto a job with big promoters MCP to bring in new acts for them. Then Britpop happened and two years later I was promoting Oasis at Knebworth. I am still a promoter ( current bands include Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Keane, Foo Fighters) and also manage acts ( Goldie Lookin Chain, and two new acts – The Dodgems and Nik Young). And I still love it!
